Thompson RCMP treat woman's death as homicide
Thompson RCMP are treating the discovery of a dead woman inside a home early Thursday morning as a homicide.
Officers were called to a house on Brandon Crescent around 3:00 a.m. to investigate reports of an unresponsive woman. She was declared dead shortly thereafter.
The cause of death and her identity have yet to be determined. An autopsy is scheduled in Winnipeg on Friday.
Thompson RCMP, Winnipeg and Thompson Major Crime Services and the Thompson Forensic Identification Unit are investigating.
