Winnipeg police say they’ve busted up a drug trafficking ring operating out of a Lord Roberts home.

Three suspects were arrested Thursday after officers executed a search warrant in the 500 block of Jubilee Avenue.

Investigators seized 140 grams of crack cocaine, 15 grams of ecstasy, a small quantity of hash oil, more than $4,000 in cash and various drug-related paraphernalia. Total street value of the drugs is estimated at about $12,000.

Police also found a loaded .40 calibre semi-automatic handgun and a collapsible baton inside the residence.

Abdirahman Mohammed Yarow, 22, Ruta Tesfalidet, 23 and Mouneer Mahboub Mohamed, 19, are facing numerous drug and weapons-related offences. All three have been detained in custody.

Sources say the accused have ties to a local street gang.
