Three charged after North End drug bust

Three people are facing charges following a drug bust at a North End home Thursday afternoon.

At around 3 p.m., Winnipeg police and the tactical support team executed a warrant in the 100 block of Matheson Avenue.

The search turned up 5.5 grams of cocaine (estimated street value of $440); 16.3 grams of marijuana (estimated street value of $245); $2,951 Canadian cash; $90 in U.S. currency; and various items related to drug use.

Kelly Vincent McPherson, 24, is facing various changes, including two counts of possession. Two other Winnipeggers, a 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, are also facing charges.
