A Little Saskatchewan First Nation man, driving a vehicle that included a female passenger and two children, has died after trying to make a U-turn in the middle of Highway 6 near Warren.

The driver of a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt, heading north at about 11:45 p.m. Friday, attempted the U-turn in front of a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu, also headed north. The vehicle behind struck the Cobalt on the driver's side.

All four occupants of the car were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries. The 22-year-old driver of the Cobalt later died in hospital.

The driver of the Malibu, a 23-year-old man from the RM of Grahamdale, was not injured.
