Transit fares go up Tuesday

ransit and Handi-Transit cash fares will increase to $2.50 and reduced and senior fares to $2.00 starting Tuesday. 

New rates for bus tickets and passes will also go into effect on Jan. 1.

Regular full fare monthly passes will increase to $82.80 from $77, reduced-fare passes to $57.75 from $52.10, senior passes to $41.40 from $38.50, post-secondary passes to $66.25 from $61.60 and Handi-Transit passes to $82.80 from $77.
