Triple assault suspect sought by police

Police are looking for a man who was thrown out of a party early Sunday morning but returned to stab and assault three people.

At about 4:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to a home in the 600 block of Toronto Street to find three injured teenagers. A 19-year-old man was stabbed to the lower body, a 19-year-old woman was assaulted to the upper body, and a 16-year-old woman was stabbed in the lower body. The women were treated and released from hospital but the man remains in hospital in stable condition.

About an hour earlier, the suspect had been thrown out of the house, but returned with two other men and a woman to assault the three victims in the home.

The investigation is ongoing.
