Federal Liberal leader Justin Trudeau will be the guest of the Provencher Liberals at a rally tonight in Lorette.
Trudeau will be touring the Provencher riding today and capping the day off with the rally at 7-9 p.m. at the Lorette Parish Hall.
The rally is open to the public. People attending are asked to register at www.events.liberal.ca .
The Provencher Liberals will be acclaiming their candidate Terry Hayward and kicking off his campaign for the byelection to fill the seat vacated by Vic Toews when he retired in July.
Trudeau will also visit Ile des Chenes, Steinbach and Ste. Anne today.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper has not yet announced a date for the Provencher byelection or for the Brandon-Souris byelection. It is expected to be sometime in November.
The Brandon-Souris seat was vacated last month when Tory MP Merv Tweed resigned to become the president of Omnitrax Canada.
