Two Charleswood stores robbed by masked men

Winnipeg Police are investigating robberies at two Charleswood convenience stores that occurred within hours of each other.

Police said the first robbery happened Monday night, about 6:30 p.m., at a store in the 5600 block of Roblin Boulevard.

Two masked men, one of them armed, threatened the clerk and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.

Later, at about 2 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Dale Boulevard, two masked men went behind the counter of a convenience store and made off with an undisclosed amount of cigarettes.

There is no identity of the suspects in either incident.
