Two arrested after attacking woman and stealing vehicle

A woman was attacked Monday night at her St. Vital home by two men who then stole her vehicle, but Winnipeg police have caught the perpetrators.

The woman, who was returning home about about 9:30 p.m. when the incident occurred, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening, upper-body injuries.

Police located the stolen vehicle a few hours later at abut 12:30 a.m. in the area of Doncaster Street and Ubique Crescent. A media release stated "several people" were taken into custody.
