Two females were killed in a single-vehicle crash early this morning.
Selkirk RCMP and local emergency services were called to the scene about 5:30 a.m. on River Road near Highway 9.
The investigation found that a 2005 Buick Century was travelling westbound on River Road at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway, rolled over at least once, and struck a utility pole.
There were two occupants in the vehicle, both female. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities and ages are yet to be confirmed.
An RCMP traffic collision analyst is assisting with the investigation.
Police continue to investigate.
