Two killed in rollover in Cranberry Portage

Police said two people were killed after a vehicle rolled in Cranberry Portage.

The collision happened Saturday at about 4 a.m. when police said a 2004 GMC Sierra heading northbound on Highway 10 lost control.

The truck then hit a large highway sign and rolled repeatedly in a ditch, throwing both people out of the truck.

Police said a 32-year-old woman was declared dead at the scene. A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital but was also declared dead shortly after.

Police have not released their names. Police said the man and woman weren’t wearing seatbelts.

Speed is considered to be a factor in the crash. Police continue to investigate.
