Two men sought after Henderson Highway robbery

Winnipeg Police are looking for a pair of men after a fast-food restaurant on Henderson Highway was robbed Friday night.

Officers were called to the 200 block of Henderson shortly before 11 p.m. after two disguised men  confronted a pair of employees -- a 17-year-old female and a 22-year-old male -- and demanded cash. They took the money and left immediately. The victims were not injured.

One of the suspects is described as about 26 years old, 5'8" with a medium build and short brown hair. The other is described as between 25 and 30 years old, 6'0' with an average build and short brown hair. Both are described as Caucasian.

The Major Crimes Unit is investigating. Anybody with any information on the robbery is asked to call the police at 204-986-6219 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
