Two officers injured in late Sunday collision

Two Winnipeg police officers suffered minor injuries when their cruiser collided with another vehicle Sunday night.

The two officers suffered minor injuries when their car crashed into another at the intersection of Springfield Road and Rothesay Street while answering a call around 10:30 p.m.

The officers were taken to hospital, treated and released. No one in the other vehicle suffered injuries or needed medical treatment.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
