Two suffer minor injuries in stabbings overnight

Police are investigating two stabbings Friday night, neither of which were fatal.

At about 9 p.m. police were called to the Travelodge on Notre Dame where a man in his 20s was suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital and later released.

So far, no suspects have been arrested and police are still investigating.

Also Friday night, a woman suffered minor injuries after a stabbing at Jarvis Avenue and Main Street. One man is in custody.
