Man beaten and robbed in Powers Street apartment Tuesday

Two young women forced their way into an apartment suite in the 100-block of Power Street late Tuesday night, where they beat and robbed a 66-year-old man.

Winnipeg Police said the incident happened just after 10 p.m. Sept. 25.

After assaulting the tenant, the two women stole an undisclosed amount of cash and personal items and then fled.

The suspects are described as Aboriginal in appearance. One is about 20 years old, 5’-4" tall, with a slim build and shoulder length hair, wearing a light-coloured jacket. The second suspect was slightly taller, about 5’6"-5’7", with a slim build, black hair, wearing a dark, tight-fitting jacket.
