Victims hurt when car hit Portage Avenue building released from hospital

Four adults and one youth have been released from hospital after a car drove into a Portage Avenue building Sunday.

Police say a Mazda 6 and an unknown silver vehicle were both heading westbound on Portage Avenue at around 3 a.m. Sunday when the driver of the silver vehicle started driving erratically and cut off the Mazda 6. The driver of the Mazda lost control and hit a building in the 600 block of Portage.

The occupants of the Mazda, four adults and one youth, were taken to hospital following the crash. Two of the adults were in unstable condition while the other three were in stable condition. All have since been released.
