Vulgar language, swastikas painted on Gretna buildings

Police are searching for vandals after several Gretna buildings were spray-painted with vulgar language and swastikas Wednesday night.
Altona RCMP said a vandal or vandals spray-painted the town's church, arena, community centre, school, a vehicle, storage sheds, light fixtures, light posts and stop signs with vulgar language, swastikas, and references to religious icons.
The culprit(s) used mostly black, red and green spray paint.
Police say some of the paint residue may have gotten on the culprit's clothes, hands and footwear. RCMP said the incidents occurred between 10 p.m. Aug. 15 and 8 a.m. Aug. 16.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 204-324-6970 or Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
