Wanted man arrested for serious assault
Dallas McKay was arrested Sunday morning in connection with a brutal assault that left a man in critical condition.
On Aug. 10, an arrest warrant was issued for McKay for aggravated assault. McKay, 22, was apprehended Sunday morning without incident, police said.
Police were originally dispatched to the beating at Fidler Avenue and Mount Royal Road on Aug. 4 at around 3 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a man who had been brutally assaulted, suffering serious wounds to his upper body. He was rushed to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
One suspect was already arrested and remains in custody. He is facing charges of aggravated assault, uttering death threats, and two counts of assault.
