Warm weather continues

Festival du Voyageur patrons will continue to bask in unusually balmy weather this long weekend.

Environment Canada predicts that Sunday will hit a high of 1 C on a mostly sunny day, though clouds are expected to move in during the afternoon. A nippy 20 km/h wind will pick up after noon.

Monday will bring cloudy skies, but the temperature won't get any more punishing, with a predicted high of 1 C and a low of only -6 C.

There is a 40 per cent chance of flurries on Monday evening, and Tuesday and Wednesday have even greater chances of seeing snow.

The current warm streak isn't expected to snap until Wednesday, when the forecast calls for a low of -17 C.
