Warm, windy day in store for Winnipeggers

Hang onto your hat today -- there will be gusty winds of up to 50 km/h this morning and later this afternoon.

If that doesn't sweep you off your feet, maybe the warm air will.

A high of 20 C is expected today and a mainly sunny day. Tonight's low will be 6 C.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high of 19 C and a low of 7 C.

There will be a mix of sun and cloud on Thursday and another warm day with a high of 19 C.

On Friday, showers are expected with a high of 17 C and a low of 13 C.

Looking ahead to the weekend, at this point, there's a 40 percent chance of showers on Saturday with a high of 13 C and a low of 9 C.

Sunday, there will be isolated showers and a mostly cloudy day with a high of 11 C and a chillier night with a low of 3 C.

The Weather Network says Thanksgiving Monday will be overcast with a high of 9 C.
