Waywayseecappo man charged after assault

RCMP have arrested and charged a 24-year-old Waywayseecappo man with aggravated assault in an attack on another man early Tuesday morning.

Prairie Mountain RCMP reported Wednesday morning that they were called to a residence on the Waywayseecappo reserve about 2:40 a.m. Tuesday. Police found an injured man and he was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Jeremiah Clearsky was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, resisting arrest and failing to comply with an undertaking.
