We Day returns to Winnipeg

We Day will return to Manitoba Oct. 30 for the third straight year.

Free the Children announced this afternoon that We day will visit six Canadian cities this year.

The last two years, more than 18,000 students have packed the MTS Centre in Winnipeg to hear motivational speakers encourage them to take part in social justice projects both locally and globally.

Speakers have included former Soviet president Mikhail Gorbachev, former U.S. vice-president Al Gore, and former Canadian prime minister Paul Martin.
