Weather stable for back-to-school week

The weather’s still decent enough for a barbeque tonight, to help cheer students in your household who are headed back to school this week.

It’ll be cloudy with sunny periods today, with a high of 14 and wind becoming north at 20 km/h early this afternoon.

Tonight, though, there’s a risk of frost with a low of 4 and clearing skies.

Temperatures are forecast to stay in the teens through the weekend.

Wednesday -- the first day of school for most Winnipeg kids -- should be sunny with a high of 19.

But clouds, a high of 16 and some showers are expected Thursday, with rain closing in on Friday and Saturday.
