Weekend weather looking like 50 shades of grey

It’s not often that Winnipeg’s weather could have you singing a song by Barney but somehow "Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun, Please shine down on me," seems appropriate this weekend.

According to Environment Canada, it’s unlikely "Mr. Golden Sun" will make a single appearance until Monday.

Today’s forecast calls for clouds, a 60 per cent chance of flurries late in the afternoon and a high of 0 C.

Both Saturday and Sunday are expected to be cloudy with a high of 2 C.

The sun will reappear next week, when the mercury is expected to rise slightly to 3 C and 5 C on Monday and Tuesday.
