Westwood phones lines fixed by end of day

MTS phone customers in Westwood should have their landline service fully restored by the end of today.

One of the company's cables in the area was damaged by flooding related to the recent warm weather, a spokesman said.

MTS restored service to the south Osborne area on Wednesday after a water main break damaged a cable and impacted service in the Riverview and Lord Roberts neighbourhoods.
