Winnipeg wildlife artist Clarence Tillenius — who created several dioramas at the Manitoba Museum — died Sunday at age 98.
Tillenius not only created dioramas at almost 20 museums in Canada and the United States, he also painted smaller works, with several of his paintings housed at a gallery in the Pavilion Gallery in Assiniboine Park.
Tillenius was honoured with the Order of Manitoba in 2003 and the Order of Canada in 2005.
