A 20-year-old Winkler man died in a collision this morning in northwestern Manitoba.
Just after 7:30 a.m., RCMP and emergency services responded to a report of a collision involving a three-ton truck on Highway 10, about 13 kilometres south of Cranberry Portage, a town located east of Flin Flon.
Cranberry Portage RCMP said in a statement the truck lost control and rolled into a ditch. The 20-year-old driver, from Winkler in southern Manitoba, died in the accident. RCMP did not release his name.
An RCMP collision analyst is assisting the police investigation, the Mounties said in a statement.
