Winnipeg, Brandon listed among Canada's top 10 places to live

Manitoba’s two largest cities are among the country’s top 10 places to live, according to personal finance and lifestyle magazine MoneySense.

Winnipeg ranked eighth and Brandon tenth in the fourth annual list from the magazine, which scores cities on 24 indicators including weather, crime levels, home prices and the likelihood of finding a job.

This year the survey also took into account tax rates and the ‘buzz factor’ of each city, referring to their cultural, recreational and athletic activities.

Victoria claimed the title of Canada’s best place to live.
