Sing a happy tune! Stolen trailer turns up

WINNIPEG -- Oh, what an adventure for a little blue trailer.
A Boler trailer belonging to Juno award-winning musician Keri Latimer and her family, stolen sometime this past weekend from behind their Fort Rouge home, has been recovered.

The trailer, painted bright blue with swirls and stars, was hauled away by thieves and then dumped down the alley -- only to be towed away to a compound.
A neighbour who saw an online story about the bizarre theft remembered seeing the trailer being towed away, and he talked to the family.
The trailer is back at home and isn't damaged at all.
"It's chained to our big oak tree in the back now," said a very pleased Latimer.
The loss of the trailer inspired Latimer, of the group Nathan, to write a song about it. The song's now also making the rounds on social media.

Her family purchased the fibreglass camper six years ago from a man in Richer for $2,000, and they’re attached to it.
"We got it just before we had our first child," Latimer says.
Like the song says, their daughter and a lot of good family memories were made in it. It’s even been customized by adding two little panels for bunk beds for the kids, 5 and 3.
"They love it. It’s perfect for us… We used it for the folk festival every year — that’s why we painted it up so funny."
