Winnipeg police are asking for the public's help in locating a 16-year-old Winnipeg girl missing since Saturday.

Heather Pitsanuk was last seen in the Transcona area on Nov. 2, police said Tuesday in a release. Investigators are concerned for her well-being.

Police describe Heather as Caucasian, about 5-foot-6 with a thin build, shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.  She wears glasses and has a pierced lower lip.

Heather was last seen wearing a black jacket, black sweater, black skinny jeans and carrying a pink purse.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact police at 204-986-6250.
