Winnipeggers set to enjoy mild weather this week

  • Print

Those anticipating winter will have to wait just a little bit longer.

The forecast from Environment Canada for Winnipeg and the surrounding area calls for sunny skies and a high of O C today. The wind is expected to blow at 20 km/h from the southwest, so the windchill shouldn’t be too harsh.

Tonight’s low is only heading down to -2 C.

Wednesday looks to be a tremendous November day, with a mix of sun and cloud and a daytime high nearing the 8 C mark. The forecast for the rest of the week figures to be pleasant, as well, with mainly sunny skies and temperatures near or just above freezing.

And here’s the best part: there is no snow in the Environment Canada forecast until the weekend.
