Winnipeggers waking to bright, brisk morning

Getting to work’s a dream this morning, so don’t feel you have to grip the steering wheel and skate down the road.

Roads are bare to the pavement and it’s a brisk -11 C. But the high today is -2 C.

Those clouds, with breaks of sunshine, will give way to a 60 percent chance of flurries this afternoon, so the drive home could be messy. Clouds and flurries hang around overnight, clearing before morning. The low tonight is -10 C.

The weekend weather is more of the same. On Friday, there's increasing cloudiness in the morning and a daytime high -5 C. For Saturday, there's a chance of flurries and a high -6 C.
