Wolseley deaths now seen as double homicide

Winnipeg police are now saying they are investigating a double homicide in a Wolseley suite.

Winnipeg police said today that some media reports had referred to the death of Unice Ophelia Crow, 19, and Trevor James Sinclair, 31, as a possible murder-suicide scenario, but it is now being investigated as a double homicide.

Police said the pair "sustained multiple injuries as a result of what is believed to be a violent attack."

Police said witnesses saw "suspicious activity" from Aug. 29 to Aug. 30. The bodies were found inside a suite at 210 Chestnut St., by police on Sept. 4, at about 7:50 a.m.

Police are asking anyone with any information to call police at 204-986-6508 or CrimeStoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
