A 46-year-old woman faces arson charges in connection to a garbage bin fire on Boyd Avenue early Thursday morning.

Polie say they responded to the area at around 1:25 a.m. Thursday regarding the fire. An investigation found that a suspect had set fire to the contents of a bin in the back lane of the 800 block of Boyd Avenue at around 11 p.m. Wednesday. The fire was put out before it could spread.

The female suspect was arrested Friday in the same area.
