Woman charged with arson in Maryland Street fire

Winnipeg police have charged a 33-year-old woman with arson following an apartment fire last month in the 700 block of Maryland Street.
The Arson Strike Force has concluded the fire last Jan. 25 was deliberately set by a suspect after a dispute with an occupant. The building was evacuated and there were no serious injuries. The building sustained $50,000 in damages.
Lori Ann Maurice has been charged with two counts of arson and has been detained.
