A 51-year-old woman has died in a house fire in Selkirk on Monday night.
Selkirk RCMP said emergency vehicles were dispatched at 10:30 p.m. to an address on Taylor Avenue.
There was nobody else involved in the fire and no damage was reported to other homes, according to the RCMP.
At this time the woman’s name is not being released and there is no estimate of damage to the home.
The Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner will be attending the site to assist with the investigation.
Earlier this year, a fire in a Selkirk trailer home killed four men and injured another.
