Branson blog raises B.C. government's ire

VANCOUVER -- A suggestive blog post by Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson toward B.C. Premier Christy Clark has upset the premier's press secretary.

"Obviously Branson's brashness knows no limits. Or taste for that matter," said Sara McIntyre, after reading the racy blog.

Branson was in B.C. last week on a marketing blitz and met with Clark while launching his airline's non-stop Vancouver-to-London service.

On May 28, Branson posted a photograph of himself kitesurfing while being embraced by a tanned and nude supermodel. It is unclear if the photo has been altered.

Underneath the photo, Branson wrote, "When in British Columbia a few days ago, the delightful Premier Christy Clark accepted my invite to come for a kitesurf ride on my back.

"One thing though -- I forgot to tell her about the dress code! Well, here it is. The offer still stands Christy!"
