Bruce Jenner underwent surgery last week to remove a cancerous growth from his face.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' patriarch discovered a red mark on his face was malignant after undergoing a biopsy and was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital on Friday (13.01.12) to have it successfully removed.

A source told US Weekly: "They got it all, he's OK."

Bruce - who is married to Kris Jenner - has been advised to keep his face covered when he goes out into the sun.

Sporting stitches, the 62-year-old former Olympian had recovered by Monday (16.01.12) when he joined wife Kris and step-daughter Khloe Kardashian to cheer on Khloe's husband Lamar Odom as he faced his former basketball team the L.A. Lakers for the first time with new club the Dallas Mavericks.

Referring to the emotional evening, Khloe wrote on her blog: "Last night Lamar returned to LA to play his former teammates for the Mavs Lakers game and the response from everyone in attendance was more than I ever could have dreamed of. Lamar got a standing ovation from the entire arena - it was such an emotional moment and I couldn't hold back the tears.

"I know the Lakers organization means so much to Lamar and he loved every minute of the time he spent with that wonderful team, so to receive such a warm welcome from the fans that Lam loves so dearly was truly the icing on the cake. Seeing my hubby smile with his old teammates along with his new ones was such a happy moment for me! I am SO proud to call myself Mrs. Odom :) What an amazing night! Thank you for showing my hubby so much love and support! (sic)"
