The fund, which distributes foods under such brands as Grimm's deli products and McSweeney's meat snacks, said president George Paleologou was named acting chief executive.

Under Knoedler, the fund underwent a significant transformation from a small meat processor to a leading specialty food manufacturing and distribution businesses.
