The U.S. dollar closed at 111.01 cents Cdn, up 0.11 of a cent.
Pound sterling was at C$1.8477, down 0.68 of a cent and US$1.6644, down 0.78 of a cent.
The Euro closed at C$1.5402 up 0.18 of a cent.
