The U.S. dollar stood at 97.37 cents Cdn, down 0.38 of a cent.
Pound sterling was worth C$1.5613, down 0.15 of a cent, and US$1.6035, up 0.47 of a cent.
The euro was worth C$1.2459, down 0.10 of a cent.
