Manitoba woman attacked by wolf
ASHERN, Man. -- A Manitoba woman says she was attacked by a timber wolf as she stopped to help another motorist.
Dawn Hepp says it happened just north of Grand Rapids, Man., after she had pulled over.

She says the wolf was -- quote -- "six feet two, big head, long legs, fluffy tail."
Hepp says the animal dug a little deeper but then let go, and she made it back to her car.
She says she wasn't bleeding badly and was later treated and given numerous shots at an Ashern hospital.
A Manitoba Conservation spokesman says they are investigating an incident with a wolf and confirmed a wolf was killed in the area.
"This is an unusual incident," said Ken Rebizant.
"We do inform the public to keep their distance. Enjoy wolves for what they are. They're a wild species but they can be unpredictable and the best thing to do is keep your distance from them."
Hepp says she believes her injuries weren't worse because she remembered the advice her father gave her while growing up on a farm -- always remain calm during an encounter with a wild animal.
Officials said there are more than 4,000 wolves in Manitoba.
