A woman wearing pajama bottoms is wanted for a credit union robbery late Wednesday afternoon.
It happened just before 5 p.m. at a financial institution in the 2200 block of Pembina Highway.
The woman is 18-20 years of age, 5’9”, 130 pounds, slim build and aboriginal in appearance.
She was wearing large dark sunglasses, a white hoodie pulled up to the top of her sunglasses, dark pajama pants with a faint checker pattern, white shoes or runners.
The woman claimed to be armed with a firearm, although one was not seen. She fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Major Crimes Unit at 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 986-8477 (TIPS).
