WINNIPEG police were scouring an East Kildonan neighbourhood late Friday after it's believed one person was shot in a alley between Munroe and Moncton avenues near Louelda Street.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m.
A resident said one man was taken away in an ambulance.
Neighbours said they heard the incident began when a motorist drove down the lane and splashed another person. The two people exchanged words and a gun was fired.
The condition of the victim is not known.
