Rain is expected to end later this morning in Winnipeg, according to Environment Canada, giving way to a cloudy day with a high of only 19 C.
The wind will be out of the northwest at 30 km/hour and tonight’s low should be 10 C.
Normally, the midday temperature in the city on July 8 is supposed to reach 26 C and the overnight low 13 C.
The national weather service also predicts below normal temperatures for much of the rest of the week.
On Wednesday, with a mixture of sun and cloud, the high is expected to be 23 C.
On Thursday, conditions should remain the same, though warmer, with a high of 27 C.
And yet, cooling temperatures are expected to enter the picture Friday and Saturday, with highs of 22 C and 20 C, respectively. Friday should be cloudy and Saturday sunny, Environment Canada predicts.
