What's open on Thanksgiving Day

City of Winnipeg offices: All civic offices are closed Monday.

Recycling and garbage collection: No single-family home collection Monday. Collection resumes Tuesday on Day 5 of five-day cycle.

For multi-family apartments, recycling and garbage collection continue Monday on regular schedule.

Brady Road Landfill: Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

Winnipeg Transit: Operates on a Sunday schedule on Monday.

Libraries: Regular hours in effect Saturday and Sunday. All libraries closed Monday.

Assiniboine Park Zoo: Open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Assiniboine Park Conservatory: Open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Swimming pools: Regular hours at all pools Saturday and Sunday. All pools closed Monday, except Pan Am Pool, open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Leisure centres: Regular hours Saturday and Sunday. All leisure centres closed Monday, except Turtle Island Neighbourhood Centre, open 1 to 8 p.m., and Magnus Eliason Recreation Centre, open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Animal Services agency: Regular hours (noon to 5 p.m.) Saturday and Sunday. Closed Monday.

Golf courses: All municipal courses open from dawn to dusk, weather permitting.

Manitoba Public Insurance: Regular hours Saturday (8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Closed Sunday and Monday.

Manitoba Liquor Marts: Regular hours Saturday and Sunday. The following Liquor Marts are open Monday, noon to 6 p.m.: Garden City, River & Osborne, Main & Pritchard, Fort Garry, St. Vital Square, Portage & Burnell, Charleswood, Northdale, Fort Richmond, Southdale, Eastwinds, Crestview, Madison Square.
