Cindy Delisle has joined Legacy Bowes Group as senior consultant. Delisle has worked in recruitment for over five years, building knowledge and experience in the engineering and manufacturing sectors, as well as many other key industries.
David Zinger is the keynote speaker for a two-day conference on Employee Engagement in Warsaw, Poland, Jan. 25-26. Zinger hosts the online Employee Engagement Network from St. Vital. Formed on Jan. 26, 2008, this network has grown to over 1,875 participants in under two years.
Don Tomac has joined Sigmar MacKenzie Real Estate. After a successful career, Tomac has "changed gears" from the auto industry to the real estate industry.
Patricia Harder recently joined the Business Development Bank of Canada in Winnipeg as account manager, Entrepreneurship Centre. Prior to joining BDC, Harder worked with various Manitoba credit unions, including Assiniboine where she was a commercial account manager, and most recently Westoba Credit Union where she was commercial credit specialist.
Lindsay Stovel has taken over as executive director of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (Manitoba Division). A Bronze, Silver, and Gold level achiever of the award, Stovel has experience in all facets of the award. She succeeds Marion Jagger who has retired after many years of service to the award in Manitoba, Alberta and internationally. A self-development program available to all young people, aged 14 to 25, regardless of background or circumstance, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award equips them with life skills to make a difference to themselves and their communities.
Kyla Wiebe has been appointed director of sales and marketing for Hilton Suites Winnipeg Airport. Wiebe comes to her new position with 15 years of hospitality sales and customer service experience. Prior to the Hilton, she held the position of sales manager at Delta Winnipeg.
COMPANIES
InfoTech Inc. has expanded its workforce with the following additions: Ken Lee is global sales director, bringing 25 years of experience in the IT industry in sales and management roles with organizations such as Olatech Corp., Royal Bank of Canada and MTS Allstream. Neil Gordon becomes client services co-ordinator. Gordon comes from Convergys where he worked in successive roles as operations manager, team leader and sales coach. Cameron McLeod is operations administrator. InfoTech is working on the launch of a new platform for Wellness Checkpoint, a relaunch of the corporate website, and the configuration of two more languages for 2010. In 2008, the company moved to 52 Donald St., now known as the InfoTech Building, to accommodate a growing staff and infrastructure.
People First HR Services introduces the manufacturing and engineering recruiting team of Paul Casciano and Trent Oldfield. They have 20 years of combined industry experience.
AWARDS
The Manitoba Library Trustees Association has chosen Bill Stilwell to receive the Library Trustee of Distinction Award, the highest level of recognition for library service in Manitoba. Stilwell has served on the Neepawa Library Board for 20 years and the Western Manitoba Regional Library Board for 14 years. He has served as chairman of the Manitoba Public Library Board, vice-president of the Canadian Library Trustees Association, and as a representative to the Canadian Library Association. The MLTA is a provincial organization representing trustees who govern the 107 public libraries in Manitoba. This is only the sixth time this award has been presented to a library trustee in Manitoba.

Kelly Tole is executive director. The Appraisal Institute of Canada, founded in 1938, is the national professional institute of real estate appraisers in Canada.
