Legumex reports first sales after going public

Legumex Walker Inc. (TSX: LWP) reported sales of $41.4 million for its first reporting period after forming and going public this summer.

The financial results cover the 79 days from July 14 to Sept. 30.

Sales were generated entirely from its specialty crops division — the former Roy Legumex Group of Companies and Walker Seeds Ltd.,

The company also owns an 85 per cent interest in Pacific Coast Canola, a canola crushing operation in Washington state which began construction during the quarter.

The company reported a net loss of $2.4 million, or $0.22 per share for the quarter.

Legumex Walker shares were unchanged this morning at $7.30.
