The 2013 Prairies EY Entrepreneur Of The Year awards were handed out at event in Calgary last night.

Jean-Pierre Parenty of Winnipeg’s Parenty Reitmeier Translation Services won in the professional and financial services category. Parenty Reitmeier Translation Services specializes in technical translation and localization in more than 100 languages for global clients.

He was the only Manitoban to win in the 10 categories that were presented.

Dale Wishewan of Booster Juice in Edmonton was named the 2013 Prairies EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award.

Wishewan grew Booster Juice to 50 locations in just two years — a Canadian franchising record. Today the company boasts 300 stores worldwide.
