Manitoba Chamber announces business awards finalists
The Manitoba Chamber of Commerce’s 2012 Manitoba Business Awards finalists have been announced:
- Long-Term Business Achievement in Winnipeg -- Poulin’s Pest Control, StandardAero and Westeel.
- Outstanding Small Business -- Brandon Wheat Kings, Half Pints Brewing Company and Hemp Oil Canada.
- Long-Term Business Achievement in Rural Manitoba -- Elias Woodwork, Murray Automotive Group and Centre and Smooth Freight.
- Outstanding Medium Business -- Epic Information Systems, Gislason Taragownik and Peters and Tribal Wi-Chi-Way-Win Capital Corporation.
- Outstanding Large Businesses -- Bison Transport, Cargill Limited and Hylife Limited.
- Lieutenant-Governor’s Awards for Outstanding Commitment to the Community, Individual -- Greg Hanson.
- Lieutenant-Governor’s Awards for Outstanding Commitment to the Community, Business -- The Dufresne Group.
Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Oct. 18.
